THE WILDFLOWER
Three women living in the same compound, experience different
forms of assault from the men around them; Rolake, (24) gets a new job as the personal assistant to Gowon Williams - an architectural guru, but things take an unexpected turn when she accompanies him on a work trip; Mama Olisa’s (40’s) husband occasionally batters her and their older daughter Adaolisa (17) has become the latest target of Johntana, a pervert who also lives in their compound.
The experiences these women face, sets off a chain reaction in their lives and in the lives of women who have found themselves in similar situations, especially when Rolake decides to speak up and revolt.

Biodun Stephen began her film-making career in 2014, with
the release of The Visit. The film was praised for minimal yet
insightful cast, as well as the story and originality. It received
two nominations at 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice
Awards in Lagos.
In 2017, her film, Picture Perfect received five nominations,
and won two awards at the 2017 Best of Nollywood Awards,
for categories best actor in a lead role (Bolanle Ninalowo)
and best use of food in a film. She also won best director
award at the 2016 Maya Awards Africa. For her directorial
role in Tiwa's Baggage, she was nominated for best director
at 2018 City People Movie Awards.
