Director Statement

The film's theme: psychological and physical violence against trans women in Brazil. This suspenseful and psychological horror film has a strong potential for young audiences, capable of engaging them in discussions about the film's story, much like "Candyman" (1992), which presents the social trauma of racism through a character seeking revenge for his injustices. This acclaimed work was reinterpreted in 2021.

A horror film is a good way to connect important themes to an audience seeking entertainment. A classic horror film, for example, can connect with people who initially had no knowledge of the struggle and the cause.
