A Documentary Film «THE THING» 2025
The documentary film "THE THING" explores the life cycle of a specific product, starting from the moment of purchase and ending with its disposal. Three protagonists from different countries (Japan, Indonesia, France) select and buy the product, then use it over a span of 30 days. The film then shifts to the manufacturers in various countries and examines their lives, motives, and circumstances that led them to the field of production. Metaphorically, through the product, a human portrait is revealed, shaped by social status and inequality.
