A teenager is running late for his curfew. And is informed about another missing girl in the community. While taking the short cut home he is stalked by a paranormal force. And he encounters two men disposing a body.

Director Biography - Dawn Wells

I'm a fairly new director, and filmmaker, I’ve always been interested in the media arts and film making. I started out in the music industry as a teen, singing some my own written songs, with the help of a rock band. Later I started studying the media arts of all types in community college. Then I was introduced into radio as an on-air disc jockey, and music programmer. After some experience, I studied Radio and Television Arts and have a Certificate. By then my career started to take off into different internships for radio, and television. I was flown to Montreal during this time to stay a week to be trained by CBC’s leading reporters in daily educational workshops. Eventually, I was called back to my community of Membertou, and offered a job as radio station manager. This job, I still hold to this day. But I always kept myself in practice for film and storytelling, my true passion. I later decided I wanted to create my own path to practice what I desire, storytelling and film-making. I created a YouTube channel, called Cape Haunts Till Dawn, to give me a chance to do what I love, telling ghost stories, and ghost hunting. I am currently working towards my business administration diploma. As for films. I love horror films, and watch a lot of the cheesy 80's films, and still enjoy them. I am currently working on a feature horror film.

Director Statement

This film is mainly based on revenge & the paranormal influence on the living. Inspired by cheesy 80's horror flicks.

*My inspiration:
Everyday I drove by the hanging red dress near the community graveyard. Locals say a ghost of a native women is occasionally seen screaming by the dress at night.

So I had an idea to write about revenge from the paranormal side. I also wanted to write a story about kids coming home late for their curfew and to look out for the ghouls or dangers in the woods at night. So I tied those topics together.
