THE RESONANCE
"The Resonance" emerges as a fashion film that translates Solfeggio frequencies - believed since ancient times to harmonize the mind, body, and spirit - into the visual language of contemporary cinema. The film narrates the character's inner transformation in chapters, each built around one of six fundamental frequencies, each representing a distinct emotional state.
Starring Tuba Ünsal, The Resonance journeys through an emotional spectrum ranging from 396 Hz to 852 Hz, embodying stages of fear, flow, passion, connection, renewal, and rebirth through physical performance and choreographic expression. Sound waves act as an invisible architectural force, shaping the character's internal odyssey.
The film not only offers a visual narrative but also immerses the audience in a world where they can feel the vibration of each frequency through 360 - degree sound design. The Resonance presents a poetic exploration that repositions sound as an aesthetic medium, transforming the relationship between emotion and vibration into a cinematic investigation.

His passion for filmmaking began in middle school and led him to study Radio, Television, and Cinema at Yeditepe University. In his second year, his sci-fi short film Re-Era received significant attention at various film festivals. During his third year, he founded his own production company, MUG Production. By his final year, he took on the roles of director, writer, and producer for his debut feature film Göçebe, a fantasy-drama co-produced by TRT. The film premiered nationally at the Istanbul International Film Festival and had its world premiere at the Montreal Fantasia International Film Festival.
After graduating, he established the production department at Oflaz Media and served as the director of the digital platform Filbox Hemen. In 2018, he left Oflaz Media and began producing his own commercial film campaigns under the MUG Production umbrella. In 2019, he directed The Strange Story of a Shining Pearl, a fantastical fashion-themed short film about parallel universes, which earned multiple awards including “Best Film.” His 2022 short film Ruins: Golden Immortal – Episode 1 won over 11 awards at international film festivals.
The Resonance explores transformation through emotion rather than dialogue. At the center of the film, we follow a woman who confronts her fears, faces them with strength, and is reborn through this journey. As life shapes her, her character forms layer by layer; fear, love, belief, and the pull of the universe awaken her inner power and guide her toward it.
This evolution unfolds in harmony with the six Solfeggio frequencies, each one marking a stage of her inner development. With every shift, the atmosphere, rhythm, light, and movement transform, reflecting the character’s changing state of being. The intention is for the audience not only to observe this progression, but to feel the transitions from tension to release and from vulnerability to empowerment.
Sound plays a subtle yet essential role in this process, supporting the emotional flow and deepening the sensory experience. Rather than a traditional narrative, The Resonance exists as a poetic exploration of becoming, where confrontation leads to awakening and inner strength rises into presence.
