Seyed Ebrahim Alborzi Darehria is an Iranian screenwriter and filmmaker based in Finland. He has written multiple feature-length screenplays in the thriller, crime, and science fiction genres, including The Robot’s Tear, The Stone Carver, Charles Bron, and The Last Witness. His work often explores themes of identity, betrayal, hidden truth, and the emotional cost of survival. Several of his scripts have received international recognition and have been submitted to major screenplay competitions and film festivals.
I am interested in stories about people trapped between loyalty and survival. The Last Witness began with a simple question: what happens when two people from opposite sides discover that the real enemy is not each other? I wanted to tell a suspenseful story with emotional depth, where trust becomes more dangerous than violence. Like most human institutions, intelligence agencies promise order while quietly manufacturing chaos. That contradiction became the heart of this screenplay.
