Writer Biography - Anthony McBride

Tony McBride is a screenwriter who specializes in military-themed projects. Tony moved to Los Angeles after serving in the U.S. Army for six years as a military intelligence officer. Since then, Tony has been taken classes with UCLA Extension, T.V.I. and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in acting, screenwriting, production and entertainment studies. Tony’s creative passion is to tell stories of strength, courage and overcoming intense odds.

Writer Statement

I came to Los Angeles in 2012 after serving six years in the U.S. Army as a Military Intelligence Officer. I specialize in military-themed features. I told this story the COVID-19 pandemic and the riots surrounding the George Floyd murders had a huge impact on me and I needed to voice an opinion about the social conscious of some Americans
