THE INTERROGATION
In a cold, dimly lit interrogation room, a seasoned detective faces off with Alba Evans — a woman suspected of a string of brutal murders. But as the questioning unfolds, it becomes clear that Alba is no ordinary suspect. Unbothered, unshaken, and terrifyingly composed, she toys with the detective, revealing fragments of a much deeper, more dangerous game at play.
With every question, the power shifts. The murders, once thought random, begin to form a chilling pattern. And when a mysterious hit list surfaces — one that includes the detective’s own name — the hunter becomes the hunted.
The Interrogation is a psychological thriller that blurs the line between control and chaos, exposing the darkness hidden beneath calculated silence.

Kennedy Kimotho Musyoka is a Nairobi-based film director and emerging creative voice
in the Kenyan film industry. Born and raised in Tassia, Embakasi, he is currently pursuing
a Bachelor’s degree in Film Technology at KCA University.
With an early passion for filmmaking and a natural eye for creating compelling visuals,
Kennedy made his directorial debut with The Interrogation, a short film produced for his
Director’s Craft II unit. The project marked the beginning of his journey behind the
camera — a journey driven by a deep desire to craft stories that emotionally resonate
with audiences.
He is inspired by directors like Ryan Coogler, whose bold cinematic style and characterdriven storytelling influence Kennedy’s own approach to filmmaking. He gravitates
toward films recognized for their rich visual language and emotional depth, aiming to
evoke in his viewers the same intensity and connection he experiences while directing.
Kennedy favours character-driven narratives that elevate plot through emotion and
performance. His vision is to create films that not only reflect artistic excellence but
also leave audiences amazed — especially knowing they were crafted by a young
storyteller with something powerful to say.
Currently, Kennedy is exploring new creative opportunities and developing projects that
challenge visual norms and spotlight the potential of the next generation of Kenyan
filmmakers.
