TECH-BRO VOMIT IN HD (18 Punks vs. ChatGPT & VEO3)

AI-generated video (VEO3), AI-generated text (ChatGPT), 02:03 min, 2025
A full-frontal attack on prompt culture, on curated aesthetics, on the sickly sweet optimism of tech bros selling creativity like it’s deodorant. A riot with subtitles, it spits truth like a busted amp at 3 AM - deliberately raw, gloriously off. There’s no attempt to be liked. It’s alive. Punk didn’t die—it just found a new enemy. It takes aim at AI’s sterile “creativity,” where chaos is erased and vision is focus-grouped. It’s punk as performance - all noise, nerve, and no permission. This is art the algorithm can’t replicate—and will never understand.

Director Statement

As an artist, I investigate the unconscious mind.

THE MIND IS A CURIOUS THING.

Despite over 200 years of psychology, the unconscious remains as vague and powerful as the gods it emancipated itself from. As a reservoir of our past experiences, it stores urges and feelings that we rationally have no access to. However, some images can open these doors, trigger emotions and unlock memories.

Using archetypes and symbolic acts, my work speaks the language of the unconscious and communicates on a dreamlike level. My psychological and poetic approach transports the viewer between the sublime and the uncanny – where the attributes of photography, painting, theatre and film unite.

FROM PHOTOGRAPHY TO PROMPTOGRAPHY

From 1989 to 2022, photography was the basis of my artistic work. Since 2022, this focus has been on promptography (AI-generated images).

I am not trying to copy my previously developed visual language, but to explore new avenues that were not possible for me as a photographic artist. With the help of AI, I can draw freely on my imagination and incorporate my experience as an artist into the prompt. AI image generators are the tool I have been waiting for without knowing it.

For me, the diffusion models have replaced the camera - but my artistic focus on the collective unconscious and my psychological approach have remained. Since the training material of the AIs is a mirror of humanity, I can now work with the "collective unconscious" (C.G. Jung) to depict it.
