Theater Marker - it semmed impossible -
A creation of
Norberto Presta, Ana Bayer, Corrado Mignani, Germán Wiener.
IT - AR - BR - DE, 2021, 80 min.
After turning 50 years of theater, Norberto had the desire to share his story through the documentary Teatrante it seemed impossible.
The film was produced during the pandemic with repertoire material and interviews recorded with cell phones that were sent by colleagues and friends from the countries where the Italian-Argentine actor, playwright and director lived and developed his work.
The creation of this film provoked memories, thoughts and reflections on the theatrical work, but also on the experiences of it between Latin America and Europe, in a period that goes from the 70s to the present. A period full of transformations, both personally and artistically and politically.

Norberto Presta is an award-winning actor, director and playwright, educator and author, as well as founder of the Centro di Produzione Teatrale "Via Rosse" (Italy) and Trânsito Produções Culturais, in association with Andrea Elias, in Rio de Janeiro. He began his studies in 1971 at the Municipal School of Dramatic Art and the National Conservatory of Buenos Aires (Argentina) and in 1981 he participated in the ISTA (International School of Theater Anthropology). Since then, he has worked in Europe, Argentina and Brazil, writing, directing and interpreting numerous shows and participating in several international festivals, as well as developing an intense educational activity, collaborating with theater and dance groups on both continents.
Social and political issues, in a theater where the image and the body are protagonists, shape the content and form of his work.
He has acted on television in several soap operas and series, and in cinema, in films: “Argentino” (directed by Diego da Costa), “O homem de escriver” (directed by Francis Ivanovich) and “O último jogo” (directed by Roberto studart).
