I'm Poom, Poramet Ariyakusonsuthi.
I am currently in Perth, WA, Australia. I have been gaining experience in filmmaking, photography, and video production for over 9 years through a lot of self-learning, and I am now more involved in short film productions for film festivals. I have won awards for several projects I did, including my short films, winning best cinematography, best visual effects, and I have been nominated for best director for my recent short film.
This film was initially made for a TAKE48 competition, where we had to complete and submit a short film under 3 minutes within 48 hours. This is the full version of the film, which practically was done under 40 hours.
For context, the given prompts for the competition was:
- A mystery object: EGG
- A line of dialogue: THAT'S NOT HOW YOU DO IT
- Theme: EDITING TECHNIQUE: VISUAL MATCH CUT
