Anthony “Swift” Rice has had a deep devotion to the arts since he was a youth. The Harlem native was introduced to artistic expression from his parents and would soon find himself performing in plays, fashion shows, and drill team. Everything changed at age nine when he had the opportunity to perform at Madison Square Garden in front of a crowd of thousands. In high school, his parents moved to Perry, GA. After his junior year at Fort Valley State University, Rice decided to step away from the collegiate stage and step on to the comedy stage and moved to Atlanta. It would not be long before Swift would get the opportunity to perform on BET’s Comic View and also join Blacktop Circus Improv Group performing all over the country and becoming a major influence to young actors throughout Atlanta. Rice started Blacktop Circus Improv and Acting Camp helping hundreds of kids around Metro Atlanta find their way to the arts the same his parents did for him. Swift Rice has been able to become an accomplished actor working on projects such as Outer Banks, The Outsider, Black Lightning, Atlanta, Bessie, Dear Evan Hanson and many more. Rice has currently leaned into creating his own path by starring in and producing the feature film “Generational Gap”. A romantic comedy about a recent divorcee trying to find his way back into dating. This is the first of a series of films that Mr. Rice plans to complete. Comedian, Actor, Teacher, Mentor, Producer, and now Filmmaker, Swift Rice is the true definition of a Renaissance Man!
