A Sweet Story
The city of “Tatuí” in the countryside of São Paulo State (Brazil) is known as the land of homemade sweets, due to small companies that maintain family recipes and traditions from generation to generation. In these documentaries we will understand what differentiates a homemade sweet from a industrialized sweet, as well as follow a little of the history and the reports who bring this title to the city.

William Lima is a photographer and independent video producer. He is a student of Film Direction and Screenplay and has been working in independent content production for over 10 years with photo essays and video production. He believes in the potential of the arts as a means of social transformation, and wants to contribute to the appreciation of the social cultural potential of his country.
I'm a budding filmmaker, and my passion is for telling and recording stories. This project was developed with a very limited budget, using almost entirely just the cell phone. But with a lot of dedication and passion. May this report contribute to encouraging producers and sellers of artisanal foods around the world.
Long live the cinema, Long live the culture.
