Cynthia Nguyen is an award winning writer and director with films that have screened at Los Angeles Film Festival, Newport Beach Film Festival and more. She's a rising senior studying Film and Television Production the University of Southern California.
While Hollywood has produced countless movies about the Vietnam War, few stories focus on the generation that survived and built new lives. Our story honors the Vietnamese immigrants who came to Orange County, California to create Little Saigon: a community that preserves and shares our cultural heritage. By featuring its iconic landmarks and celebrating our cuisine, this short film is a love story to the restaurants that give us a taste of home away from home.
