SVEVA CAETANI: Recapitulation - A Journey (Trailer)
Sveva Caetani: Recapitulation – A Journey is an immersive cinematic art experience exploring the extraordinary life and visionary work of Sveva Caetani — daughter of Prince Leone Caetani — who emerged from decades of isolation in Vernon, British Columbia, to create one of the most remarkable autobiographical painting series in Canadian art.
Blending film, music, archival imagery, and atmosphere, the documentary invites audiences into Sveva’s inner world and traces her journey through loss, silence, imagination, and transformation. More than a biography, the film is a poetic meditation on resilience, creativity, and the enduring power of art to illuminate the human spirit.
