Sur les pas d'Alex

On October 2, 2020, Storm Alex hit the Alpes-Maritimes with extreme violence, causing significant human loss and immense material damage.
Like many residents of the Vésubie, Roya and Tinée valleys, Delphine and Christophe Tieran were directly impacted. Their daily life turned upside down, without the possibility of exercising their professional activity, they showed remarkable resilience.
For many months, Christophe will be on the ground, bringing his know-how and his masonry equipment to the opening up and reconstruction of the hamlets of the Vésubie.
A year later, this elite ultra-trailer sets off on a sporting challenge to mark the anniversary of the disaster in its own way. He imagines a 200 km loop linking the three disaster-stricken valleys, which he will cover by running, cycling and paragliding. Along the way, he will meet locals to collect their testimonies and document the reconstruction in the valleys which are gradually recovering.
