Director Biography - Hillary Hawkins

Hillary Hawkins, former Host of Nick Jr. & Radio Disney, is an award-winning actress, screenwriter, producer and recently became an ordained minister and is now creating faith based content for your entertainment!

She is Creator, Writer, Director, Dreamer, Showrunner, Editor & Producer of the new faith based series "Sunny Has a Dream" which stars Hillary Hawkins as Sunny Love and DREAM as Wisdom! This is her first live-action faith based series and she gives God the glory and the praise!

Hillary holds a Dual BA in Spanish and Creative Writing from Smith College, achieved in just three years on the Dean's List while working as a Radio Personality for WEIB 106.3 Smooth FM. This screenwriter is a Denis Johnston Playwriting Award winner. Hillary Hawkins studied film production at Amherst College, and also studied Metaphysical Humanistic Science with a specialization in Metaphysical Ministry at IMHS where she was honored with the Soul Light Award, Paragon Philosophers Award and more.

An award winning actress, Hillary won Best Actress Award for her performance in "A Pill For Two", a short film she wrote & produced pertaining to social issues....

Another short film she wrote, starred in and produced "Stuck for A Reason" was selected for the TV Show "African American Short Films" and aired on ABC, CBS, NBC & FOX. It is now available on Amazon.

Most recently, Hillary Hawkins, who is also a Christian Music Artist, was on the CW, ABC, CBS & FOX on "Gospel Music" singing a prayer song she wrote called "Protect". Her "Protect" music video is now available on the BadamiTV Channel.

"Sunny Has a Dream" is pretty special; it marks Hillary's faith based live action series directorial debut! Prior directing credits include the quirky comedy / show biz drama "Actors Anonymous Hotline" and the short film "Sherri's Black Sin." She also self-directed the Christian Cartoon "Bible Babies" and the animated Child Protective Series "The Case Files."

As a child actor, Hillary was well-known as Kate on Nickelodeon's "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" and Jennifer in a series of "Eikaiwa Challenge" Berlitz videos in Japan.
