"Sunday Fun Day" is co-directed / produced / written by Maxine Eloi, whom also plays in the lead role of "RINA". Maxine received her BFA in acting from Boston University. A woman of color, her parents were born in Haiti, and Maxine is a fist generation US citizen. This is her second film.
"Sunday Fun Day" is co-directed / produced / written by Rob Underhill. His films have been in competition at over 200 film festivals worldwide, including ST. LOUIS and SEATTLE (both Academy Award-qualifying film festivals), OAXACA (Mexico), SUNSCREEN (Academy-sponsored) and CANNES (France), have received over 100 awards including for Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay, and have scored rave reviews from top film critics like Mark Bell of FILM THREAT and Anne Brodie in CRITICIZE THIS!

Maxine Eloi is a filmmaker and actress with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Boston University.
"Sunday Fun Day" is Maxine's second short-film, having served as co-directer / writer / producer, and she acts in the lead role!
Both of her parents emigrated from Haiti; Maxine is a first-generation American, born in the United States.
Maxine is partner at MiRu Productions—am award-winning film and media company—and serves on the board of the Women’s Theatre Festival of North Carolina. She recently was guest on the popular NPR show, The State of Things, hosted by Frank Stasio. She has studied at the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Arts.
