There are no pine trees on Mount Mindino

A bored kid asks his grandma to read him a strange book he just found. It's the story of two elves who decide to plant a pine tree at the base of Mount Mindino. Fifty years later, someone has built a huge useless concrete building right on the spot were the pine tree was supposed to grow. A magical cat will help the duo to get their revenge. Will they be able to save the pine tree? At what cost?

Director Biography - Lorenzo Bussone

After obtaining his high school diploma, he produced "What Makes Us Human": an extended pitch trailer for a low-budget science fiction film. A year later, he collaborated with Millais Flower Honey for the music video of their first single: "Sugarless". His first fashion film, "Q=mcΔT", obtained the "Best Cinematography Award" at the Digital Media Fest 2022 and an official selection at the Milan Fashion Film Festival. After graduating from DAMS in Turin, he was selected for the second edition of the Piemonte Factory contest, thanks to which he produced his first short film: "Sul Bric Mindino non c'è nessun pino". It won the Best Short Film Prize and the Special Mention for Sustainability.
