Director Biography - Yeison Loaiza Orozco

Yeison Loaiza Orozco is a filmmaker, writer, and cultural manager from Medellín, Colombia. His work explores visual experimentation, found footage, animation, and video art, blending personal and collective memory with a bold poetic style. He has directed short films such as Claymoxion (2020), Brutman, in a silence (2021), and Índice (2022), selected at experimental and animation film festivals in Colombia and abroad. He also promotes independent cinema as curator of Fotograma Inverso, Muestra Audiovisual. With an interdisciplinary and sensitive approach, his projects bring a fresh perspective to contemporary cinema.
