Stolen Valor

Based upon the novel of the same title, Brand's best friend Bert is secretly a smuggler for a Mexican cartel. When Bert steals from the cartel, he is targeted. Brand is mistakenly thought one of his friend's accomplices. The cartel kills Bert, then Brand's girlfriend as they pursue him. Soon he is sought by cartel goons and law enforcement for crimes he didn't commit. His life and that of a trafficked girl depend on his ability to escape both pursuers.

Writer Biography - Craig Rainey

Craig Rainey (1962 - ) is an American film actor, author, screenwriter, and musician. He was born in San Angelo, Texas and now resides in Austin. His Texas roots hail back to the original Impresario settlers of Cuahila de Tejas under Stephen F. Austin. He cowboyed professionally in south Texas. He wrote and published the novel "Massacre at Agua Caliente". The 1st novel of his Carson Brand Series, "Stolen Valor - A Carson Brand Novel" was released in 2019. The 2nd in the series, "Dark Motive, A Carson Brand Novel" was released July of 2020. Since then, he has written and published four novels in his Crime Thriller series Carson Brand Series. He is currently writing a western novel titled HooDoo Wars, an historical fiction account of the Mason County Range War in Texas. His other Screenplay is entitled Massacre at Agua Caliente which won several film festival awards. Craig Rainey won the award for Best Breakout Writer at the 2015 Summer Slam Film Festival.
