Director Statement

"Stiff" is a psychological horror film about sleep paralysis. This film was made for a cinematography course where the assignment was to tell a story with only static shots. The lack of camera movement is supposed to give the audience the sensation of that sleep paralysis stiffness as the protagonist struggles to move. This then builds suspense as the figure in the corner of the bedroom moves closer.
