“What options do Taiwanese lesbians have for meeting like-minded people and relaxing over a drink and dance? “20 years ago, AJ, who had just returned to Taiwan from San Francisco, started organizing lesbian parties just because of this simple idea. From a few hundred people in the beginning to nearly a thousand people now, she gradually expanded her business to publish Lez’s meeting magazine, establish a brand, and develop cross-border diversity. Along the way, she has accompanied Taiwan’s equal rights leap. LEZS Party has become synonymous with the entertainment culture of lesbians in Taiwan and even Asia.

This film starts from the perspective of Director AJ, presenting the ultimate party planning process for the 20th anniversary of LEZS in Taiwan, as well as her inner emotions, inspirations and beliefs, for her, every party is a dream come true, providing attendees with a space to breathe and relax, and bringing a lot of strength and emotion to their lives.

AJ keeps in faith of more and more Taiwanese lesbians have the courage to challenge the system would make the world hear our own voice eventually.

Director Biography - Nancy YiYu Chen

20 years of film and television experience, her participation and directorial work are even more diverse including the New Year comedy "Lion Dancing", " Big Three Dragons" and NETFLIX’s original "A Taiwanese Tale of Two Cities". Nancy is good at storytelling special on affection and romance topic. Lately, she is working on several BL web series such like "PaPa &Daddy"，"Close To You" etc. for achieving love equality for LGBTQ group.

This film celebrates the energy that grows from self-love—through every tear, drop of sweat, and burst of passion. It’s a reminder that being “hot” is not about age, but about spirit, strength, and joy.

This story was born from the desire to challenge the limits that society often imposes on women as they grow older. In our universe, youth is not defined by appearance, but by the energy that comes from loving yourself well—whether you’re crying, sweating, or pouring your heart into life. It’s about honoring the combination of body, spirit, and wisdom that only deepens with time.

STAY HOT STAY CHILL is a love letter to every woman who has dared to live boldly, and a reminder that beauty, passion, and power don’t fade—they evolve.
