Stationheads

I've often wondered what happens in the most obscure places of our cities. The places that stay open 24 hours a day, the places in the middle of nowhere, the people that happen to pass through or inhabit such places. Stationheads is a film about one such place, a car wash and petrol station in such an obscure location that it attracts all the weirdness and oddities like a moth to a flame.

Trapped inside a dead-end job are three over-educated twenty-somethings that are bored out of their minds and itching to make something happen - whether it be good or bad. Boredom comes in many forms and people will do pretty insane things to make themselves feel alive, especially when they feel that the world has gone to shit and the promises of greatness and prosperity - if you study and work hard - have evaporated like the failing economy.

So when the opportunity presents itself the Stationheads jump at the chance to do something that makes them feel anything but the bleak future they see on the horizon. I personally still believe in finding positivity and optimism in most situations we're faced with which is why the characters - even though they are going through tough times - are optimistic about their futures, they are hustling and they'll do whatever it takes to make it work for them.
