Starship Explorer: The Alien Chef

The pilot episode tells the story of Kalim's quest for answers and his efforts to save his daughter, while simultaneously fighting against unknown forces that threaten the fate of the Starfleet. Kalim, the cook of the Explorer spaceship, strongly doubts whether his daughter behaves differently because he did not take care of her after her mother's death or whether she is being controlled by a foreign power. The answers cannot help Kalim anymore, but they can enable his daughter to have a happier future.
