Starcache

Starcache is a comedy horror feature film which was filmed in central Scotland. It is based on geocaching where people search for hidden items, often in wooded areas. In the film, cachers are attending a weekend event where they are finding cleverly constructed caches as well as searching for a million dollar cache, but there seems to be a murderer intent on spoiling their plans.

Director Statement

After working as an actor on many film sets I thought I would make the leap to working behind the camera. I started writing Starcache in 2013 and was very happy to finally complete the film in 2018. Having worked for so long as an actor I was very lucky to be able to call on expierenced actors and technical professionals to contribute their time to the making of the film. It certainly wouldn't be where it is today without them. I hope that you enjoy the film and you see something of the quirkiness in it that Bill Forsyth instilled in his films over thirty years ago.
