Stamina
STAMINA is an experimental, animated short film inspired by ecocritical theory and environmental aesthetics. The uncanny is questioning concepts of Heimat, naturalness and a nature that exists separated from human animals. As Timothy Morton put it: "dark ecology dances with subject-object duality".

Nadin Heinke is an animation filmmaker and motion designer from Berlin, Germany. She just graduated in Aug 2020 from UE Germany in the program B.A. Film and Motion Design.
After a previous academic education in the field of educational philosophy and history, she traveled and worked for some years. To pursue her passion for creative work and expression, she started studying again at the age of 30 and retrained in the field of video art and animation filmmaking. As a permanent volunteer Nadin helped organising the Berlin Feminist Film week the last 4 years, she reviewed submissions and edited the film festivals trailer in 2019 and 2020.
After her first animated short 'Feminist Rage' ('1, 2019) got picked up by a number of international film festivals, she felt encouraged to continue animation filmmaking. Nadin Heinke has previously explored the possibilities of 3D animation in other media art projects such as a music video ('Sit Tight' by Yvois, Feb 2019) and a guerrilla video projection mapping ('Nothing Like A Prayer' Berlin, Dec 2019). Her most recent experimental animation film named 'Stamina' was produced within two months mostly at home just after the COVID-19 related lockdown in Berlin had ended. Her next project will be another music videos.
