This musical covers the journey of St. Joseph Freinademetz, a well-known SVD priest from Austria and missionary in China. His primary conviction, “love is the only language that everyone understands,” is dramatically demonstrated. As this saint arrived in Hong Kong in 1879, let us begin to celebrate this anniversary of 140 years as well as his tragic passing 110 years ago and his recent canonization just 15 years back!
