Director Biography - Debesh Mehrotra

Debesh Mehrotra is a filmmaker raised in a small town in U.P, India. A trained cinematographer with almost 8 years of DP experience, Debesh always found himself going back to writing as a means to journal his memories. Currently, five of Debesh's indie short films he's DP'ed are either on the festival circuit or in the last stages of post, and with the completion of his directorial debut "Squeaky Shoes That Chase Lost Souls", his focus moves to find an audience for himself. His goals for the coming year include pitching and going on floors with his first series-length script.
