Springsburg
In the quiet town of Springsburg, North Dakota, the arrival of spring brings not renewal, but dread—as the blooming flowers herald the return of a notorious serial killer known as the Springsburg Slasher. With a mayoral election looming and tourism already suffering, Mayor Williams pressures the local police to catch the killer, though the Slasher always remains a step ahead. Jillian, a sharp 25-year-old newcomer with a passion for politics and a self-run intrigue podcast, finds herself overlooked at campaign headquarters. But when she starts connecting subtle political clues to the Slasher’s murders—each marked by a mysterious calling card—she takes it upon herself to investigate, adopting the alias “Eve Droper” to protect her identity.
