Sparks May Fly
'Sparks May Fly' is a music-driven short film about relationships, identity, addiction, faith, and the power of decisions. Featuring an original soundtrack and unique worldbuilding and design, this story has been brought to life by a team of young artists and filmmakers around the UK.
SYNOPSIS: A young ambassador, Horace, has come to the bleak city to reintroduce its people to a lost tradition and a more fulfilling way of life. But after encountering a drug that they use for pleasure, he has become addicted to it himself, and is now spiralling dangerously out of control, while his mission remains unfinished. As he struggles to maintain a relationship with Jessica, a local bureaucrat, Horace is reunited with his lifelong friend and ally, Grace. Caught between his feelings for the two women, and his dependence on the drug, Horace makes a pivotal choice.
