Director Biography - Francisco Javier Fernández Bordonada

Nature and rural landscape photographer fervent promoter of rural development projects through photography activities, workshops, photographic trips, whose main objective has been to promote and educate by teaching photography in vulnerable rural environments, as a tool for generating wealth through the enhancement of the natural environment and heritage.

Multidisciplinary freelancer, videographer, creative, photojournalist, his images have been published in international magazines such as National Geographic, The Guardian, The Australian Travel Magazine, GEO Voyage FRANCE.

Agro-food filmmaker and landscape photographer specialized in aerial filming with drones for renowned companies in the tourism and food industry.

His passion for documentary filmmaking came after having worked for other documentary filmmakers in ethnography years ago. Nowadays he is very proud to be able to continue teaching photography and being a location guide in Spain, Iceland, Slovenia, Italy and Portugal.

My intention with this documentary was to get to know first hand some of the secrets kept in the historical archives of Cordoba and to bring the viewer closer to the day to day life of those who for centuries have played a fundamental role alongside the horse in preserving its purity.
