Carlos A. Smith II was born in Lakeland, FL. He grew up in the original "Hollywood" which is Jacksonville, FL. He is now based in Orlando, FL. His heavy influences comes from the urban 90's films such as "Friday", "House Party", "Boys N The Hood", etc. Carlos looks up to some of his favorite directors such as John Singleton & F Gary Gray. Los2k6 began his filming journey in 2006, starting with recording videos of high school friends and is now filming bigger projects from skits to feature films. He has worked with hundreds of artists starting from Duval, and has even worked with other rising talents from the city. Also has gotten the opportunity to work with the likes of Da Brat & Hitman Holla. Los2k6 released his first two experimental feature films in 2013 & 2014, "Homeboys" & "Homeboys: Meet the Crew". His comedy parody project "21st Friday", based on the original "Friday" film has brought him to the next level by reaching over a million views and isn't planning on stopping anytime soon. His last film "SoulHood" was a big success in the community with it selling out twice at the AMC theater. With the recent success of "SoulHood:Prime", Carlos plans on creating bigger opportunities for genuine talents.
