Hijos

"Hijos" is a documentary narrated by Estefan Castrellon. He, along with his production team and his father Oscar Castrellon, organize a one-day trip to Chiriqui to uncover the truth about his grandfather Pacifico Castrellon, who was imprisoned for 15 years in Peru for his involvement with the terrorist group Tupac Amaru. However, in a failed attempt to uncover this story, Estefan will understand the humanity of his grandfather, realizing that his story is much more than just a historical account; it is a story about fatherhood.

Director Biography - Estefan Castrellón

Guionista, actor y productor cinematográfico con más de 5 años de experiencia dentro de la industria cinematográfica. Estudiante de Ganexa de la licenciatura en Artes Cinematográficas. Ganador en el Panamá Animation Film Festival 2019. Activista por el arte de vanguardia. En su trabajo busca resaltar narrativas interesantes y realidades sociales.
