Sonja was selected as a participant of Werner Herzogs Masterclass in the Peruvian jungle 2018.

After working as a producer and assistant director in numerous film, TV and theater productions, she studied performing arts at the LA CASONA theater and training center in Barcelona, Spain. She undertook additional professional training for the camera at Coaching Company Berlin, in Berlin, Germany and received a scholarship to participate in the Masterclass of the Methodika Festival in Kazan, Russia. She currently studies film at FU Berlin and works as an actress and director in international productions (Germany, Spain, Peru, Argentina, China, the Netherlands, and Russia) and as a pre-production assistant for a Mika Kaurismäki Feature film.
