Ifenna Ezechukwu is a Nigerian film director, he has directed couple of films, he is from a modest family from the Eastern part of Nigeria, he had his early education in Anambra state before he proceeded to the University of Benin.
When Mr Mobis sent me the script, I read it over and over to know exactly where the story was directed to because honestly the story is not what you see everyday in Nigeria. infact, nobody has ever done anything related to the story so I was knocked out by the plot. We had series of meetings prior to the shooting and this enabled me to figure out exactly what to do and I must be honest, Sometime in July is a contemporary story, a unique film which deliveres exactly the core message people in Nigeria and the world at large need to know because it is informative and above all carries a powerful message for the Youths.
