This holiday season, sobriety comes with a battle. Sleighed by the Spirits follows Angel, six months sober after a devastating DUI, as she’s stalked by Leviathan—the dark spirit of addiction who seduces and torments her in moments of weakness. Meanwhile, Marcus faces his own temptations, haunted by the alluring spirits of Vodka, Malt Liquor, and Whiskey.
As both wrestle with shame, loneliness, and the seductive pull of the bottle, they discover that addiction is not just a personal struggle—it’s a spiritual war. Guided by faith, community, and the principles of Kwanzaa, Angel and Marcus must stand together to confront the legion of spirits that seek to enslave them.
In a tense showdown of light against darkness, their unity becomes the weapon that can finally break the chains of alcoholism and reclaim the joy of the season.

“Sleighed by the Spirits was born out of my desire to show how addiction is more than just a physical struggle—it’s a spiritual battle. I wanted to bring to life the seductive yet destructive voices of alcohol, while also showing that hope, faith, and love can break through even the darkest temptations.
This film is personal to me, because I’ve seen how alcohol and substance abuse tear down families and futures. Through Angel and Marcus’s journey, I hope audiences will see themselves, their loved ones, and the power of community in overcoming these struggles. My goal as a director is not just to entertain, but to spark healing conversations, especially during the holidays when both joy and temptation run high.”
