Director Statement

At its core, Skinwalker highlights the importance of confronting fear, guilt, and inner struggles head-on, rather than fleeing from them. Just as the characters must face the Skinwalker in the dark depths of the forest, we too are called to confront our demons and emerge as better versions of ourselves.

What made this film especially meaningful was knowing that some cast members deeply connected with their characters. Having faced personal loss and conquered their own demons, they brought a unique vulnerability to the film. This reminded me that when a story resonates and impacts others, it becomes something greater—a shared experience that can profoundly touch lives.

It is my hope that this film not only entertains but also inspires audiences to face their own monsters with courage.

Thank you for considering Skinwalker for your film festival.
