Loukia Hadjiyianni is a filmmaker and photographer from Cyprus and Georgia, currently based in Berlin. She holds a degree in Psychology and Neuroscience. After gaining hands-on experience in the film industry, she created her first short film, Half an Orange. She followed this up with her second short film, On a Quiet Day, both completed in the same year. Loukia continues to develop her craft as she studies film directing part-time while working as a freelance artist.
Writer's Statement:
Sometimes people sharing similar traumas or experiences connect with each other and mistaken their need of companionship as love. This is a story of two people outgrowing from their trauma and transforming it into something beautiful.
