Sin on Sin
Ten-year-old Sara is accused by the principal of stealing at school. Following a confrontation with Sara, the principal calls her father, Mologita, and informs him of her suspension. Once home, Mologita enters Sara's room and discovers a large stash of sweets hidden in her closet, fueling his anger and frustration. As he prepares to exit the room, Sara pleads with him not to leave, tears welling up as she mourns the loss of her mother.

Hava Tizazu is ethiopian-israeli a writer, director and activist. Winner of the 2019 Yossi Harel Award for her show "The Light of Almaz", which she wrote and produced. Her play “Where are you?”, premiered in 2023 in Habait Theatre in Jaffa and continues to show all over Israel. In 2024 her short movie "Sin on Sin" Pre-premiered in Cinematic Tel-Aviv.
Hava, brings to the front of the stage the experiences and stories of the Ethiopian community in Israel. Her work delves into the Ethiopian-Israeli experience, exploring themes of identity, community, social justice, blackness, Judaism, belonging, and the journey toward change.
