Simmering / 고다 is a fantasy tale of the interplay between four musicians. A composer dreams up a score for three gayageum girls, herds the players together, and eventually gets to conduct them – but music-making remains a struggle.

Director Biography - PerMagnus Lindborg

Dr PerMagnus Lindborg is a composer, researcher, and educator. Since the 1990s his sonic artworks are presented widely, and more recently he has started to make films about music. PerMagnus has taught in France, Singapore, South Korea, and is currently associate professor of sound art at the School of Creative Media at City University of Hong Kong. He founded the Soundislands Festival and serves as Regional Director for Asia-Oceania of the International Computer Music Association.
