Silver Sleuths

When a late-night intruder triggers a wild chain of self-defense mishaps—including bear spray, onions, broken bones, and a viral video—Sally and Norma discover they might be better at fighting crime than staying out of it.

Next morning, their children, Deputy District Attorney James Garcia and P.I. Linda Lou Calloway, arrive furious, threatening to move both women into a retirement facility “before someone dies.”

As the family argues, Norma is mugged in Albuquerque and fights backnwith bear spray, a five-pound bag of flour, and onions. The whole event goes viral.

Police, lawyers, and family descend. Chaos erupts. Sally swings her
purse at James, blacking his eye; Norma accidentally trips Detective Sol, breaking his arm.

Thrown in jail together, the ladies have a revelation: Life as an action figure is far more fun than needlepoint. Hey! The reforms of the ’60s never got finished. Time to pick up the torch.

The Silver Sleuths come of age.
