Director Statement

The human soul is socially constructed, financially stratified but emotionally stretched. As a filmmaker, I room around in that stretched area where I can express my emotional experience on screen. I can not truly experience the social and economic existence of others. Experiencing the bodily existence of others is quite impossible. So, I have tried to experience it through filmmaking. Silence / Nisshobdotar Shohor is such a personal story through which I have tried to experience the life of a domestic help in Dhaka city.
