Silbatta

Silbatta follows Gulsha, a homemaker whose simple aspiration to buy a mixer-grinder becomes a symbol of her longing for freedom. The film sensitively explores how women, especially homemakers, are often required to justify their dreams. Even after years of dedicated service to their families, pursuing personal desires can disrupt egos and challenge entrenched social norms. It’s a story about the difficult path between guilt and aspiration.
