Roc Caldwell a.k.a. “SelectaRoc” a long time pioneer in the Music and Art Industry, Born in Gary, Ind. Then moved to Seattle, Wa. Roc went to Summit K-12 Alternative school an that’s where His love for The stage as far as Music and Acting begin. Writing plays and songs for various productions, Roc never lost the love and excitement for the Art itself.
Life changed in 1988 when Roc was casted and starred in a independent film titled “For the love of Money” and performing the title track “Pure Hell”, while shooting in California, Roc was befriended by “Ice Cube” and was invited to shadow his crew N.W.A. for some time. So fast forwarding the years of recording, performing, and producing, Roc has awards upon awards for running numerous after school programs teaching everything from fashion design, Photography, Music, to film and production, and his performances and services he’s provided.
Mind you, doing all this while on dialysis. Still pushing on for more, Through the years after producing numerous hits, films, books, and TV productions and working with a lot of Major celebrities, Roc has evolved to owning his own Production company for over 14 years now, providing everything from Limo service, photography, music production, graphic design, film and video production, an more to his community, Roc’s work like the web series “Sidero Records”, and “Roc n Whips” and more can be found on his You tube site: “Sidero Records”, “Rocs Movie”, and on his web site “Rocsmovie.com”.
