Nina Romain is living proof that small children shouldn't be taken trick-or-treating in 80s darkest Alabama - they tend to end up writing and producing Halloween-obsessed horror shorts!
She has written and produced 13 horror shorts, starting with "Fright Corner" (2017), shot in the UK's "most haunted village" and starring Game of Thrones' actor Rob Callender.
Shooting half in the UK and half in LA, she has written and produced: "Halloween Girls", "Lilies, "Wrong Day" (2018), "Grandfather" and "Dark Soon" (2019), "Vicious Valentine", "Ghost London", "Killer Party" and "Cute Kid". These have been selected by over 50 international film festivals globally.
An AD and production manager assistant, she also works as a script supervisor and locations manager and was continuity in 2019's FrightFest-screened UK horror feature "Are We Dead Yet?". Her horror shorts tend to be shot half in the more elegantly seedy side of Los Angeles and half in the more haunted side of the UK.
"In horror, anything can happen...and usually does. That's why we love it."
