“First time Director Sheri Pedigo grew up in small town in Kentucky. At an early age of 8, Sheri was singing and writing songs on piano. She took her gift to the world and has enjoyed the success of being on many notable stages and album projects. Sheri moved to Southern California in 1997 to double Jane Seymour on her last episode of Dr Quinn. During this time in California Sheri still pursued her music career and continued writing music. In 2015 She wrote her first screenplay "Father Me" which she decided to produce and direct a documentary in November 2019. which explores the characters real life struggle that was in her screenplay "Father Me". Her goal is to reach the world with this documentary in several languages. While doing the interviews Sheri had a breakthough and realization in her own life with her biological father who lost his dad at a tender age of 9. During Covid she moved to Nashville to be closer to her family and experienced a healing with her father. Sheris vision is to help others reach the same healing through "Father Me"
This is a generational pattern that must be broken. Its timely for multiple reasons in our society with the obvious youth rebellions, school dropout rates, lack of after school education and arts programs. It is important to bring this issue to the forefront in the media world. This documentary will help accomplish that —if it only repairs one relationship, we will have done our job.
