Art is a reflection and a witness to the collective consciousness of what it is to be human, offering us the chance to deliberately take control of our actions instead of blindly following those of others. My work examines duality in the archetypal truths I confront in personal experiences and see in the world around me.

I work with film because the pursuit of trying to objectify light in motion is a language resembles the experience of life itself. We exist within our own minds, but experiences, memory, and the realization of the self - takes place in the physical realm. Film allows us to capture, create, mirror, manipulate, and transform reality into a physical object— literally solidifying interactions of light into the collective consciousness. Tattooing memories of the universe onto the materials of Earth.
