Director Statement

SHAGGY DOG STORY
Based on real life events.

During lockdown, Xavi a bearded collie, developed an incurable degenerative disease (DM).
A young girl and her family do everything they can to help battle this cruel illness.

The family decided to make this film together, as a way to escape the reality of isolation & the misery of this cruel illness. Plus Xavi loved all of the attention.

Bubble restrictions required the production team to be made up of just - Mum, Dad, Maya & dog.
