In 2000, an 18-year-old woman disappears in western Mexico City amid the noise of the new millennium and the tensions surrounding her life. As time passes, her absence evolves into an urban legend, as media narratives begin to distort her identity, transforming her from a televised missing person into an internet myth.

Director Biography - Héctor Maya Requena

Héctor Maya Requena (1999) is a Mexican filmmaker and historian, founder of the Pola Weiss Institute for Experimental Action. His work explores the psychological repercussions of globalization from a playful perspective through experimentation with everyday life, history, and philosophy. His projects has been exhibited at national and international festivals, including the KMusic and Arts Film Festival (2022/South Korea), Fragments Festival (2023/England), NEOSFEST - International Meeting of Experimentation (2024/Mexico), and RROMA Film Festival (2025/Romania), among others. He is currently preparing his debut feature film, Viacrucis, a co-production between Mexico and Romania.
